lol YES as far as ive played, which isnt far(damn lag), the voice acting is MUCH better than factions. at least no old fortune teller lady with cancer of the lung.and did they happen to update the old cutscenes and add mouths or just the nightfall ones?

I would believe from now on.. all the new chapters will have characters talking with their mouth. Don't think A-Net would have time to update all the videos from Prophecies and Factions.

In prophecies, the guy who introduces you to Lion's Arch has an awesome voice, so not all the voice acting in GW was bad.

i think prophecies voice acting was OK but all the "cinematics" in faction were realy bad.

im not a huge fan of skipping the cutscenes, but yeah- that Harvest Temple flashback with Shiro's 'voices in his head' is very very annoying. I hate it the most.

So, no moving lips in tyria and Cantha, only in Elona? Wonder how they will explain that one down on the Lore Forum.

^for their constant talking the people of Tryria and Cantha got their mouths super glooded shut in hopes that they will talk about something other than "my l337 sword of u8er n00b slaying" unfortenchly the only thing that happend was that they turned telepath and continued with their l337 sp34k

Lore update
=========
So the "silent curse" was finally lifted with the death of Shiro.
Everyone can once again speak using their mouths rather than having to rely on telepathy.
Thank the Gods!

I recall reading in an interview someone said that talking through telepathy (or just without moving their mouth) was an attribute of Tyria..... and then Cantha came along, and they suffered from the same disease or had the same ability.

So I am curious if it will be a retroupdate, or how they'll explain it through the lore (as someone has said).

The narrator sounds like the guy from the 7Up commericals from the 80's. Another character sounds like the voice of Christopher Plummer.

Voices are MUCH better than in Factions (which ain't saying much).

Now only if they could stop building the cinematics from 4 or 5 generic emotes like /bow or /point. I wonder how much space would "cinematics only" emotes take.
